August Classes

Mommie and Me Spa Wraps- This is a beginning sewing class. Preferably 10 or older for the child. Mom and child chooses their color of fabric (please choose before class- pink, light blue, white or lime green). Cuts out the pattern, pins and sews the fabric. One embroidery design can be chosen to embellish the spa wrap. $40 each. Bring your own sewing machine if you have one. 1-3:30pm

August 12 (Thur) Rag Rugs with Meg

Make a 15 yard rag rug
(we'll at least start the rug in the class then you take home
enough fabric to make a 15 yard rug)

Make a ribbon baby blanket. Choose from 4 colors of soft fabric, and choose from our large selection of coordinating ribbons. This is a beginner sewing class. Bring your own sewing machine if you have one, or we have several to borrow. 1-3pm, $15 plus $15 material fee.

August 19 (Thur) Earring Making Class
- Design 3 pairs of earrings from our huge inventory of findings and beads. Just buy what you use. No need to buy the whole strand of your favorite beads. We’ll help you design and put together whatever you come up with. 3:00 to 5:00pm $15 plus $15 material fee. (6 max)

Learn the basics of Email Marketing using Constant Contact. Get help getting started with your own email marketing plan. Learn how to make a professional looking emails, create and increase your email lists to advise your customers of specials, new products, whatever news you want to. 4-5pm. $15

Makeup and Skin Care with Emily, 1-2pm, $25. Learn new techniques for skin care and makeup. Emily now carries Jane Iredale makeup and PCA for skincare. Class can't be held unless at least 6 people sign up. Bring your girlfriends or relatives!

August 21 (Sat)- Birdhouse Class w/ Meg Come and create a beautiful birdhouse. The “blank” birdhouse will be provided. There will be two sizes- You choose your colors, you paint or stain or age your birdhouse, and choose from many embellishments to make your birdhouse a “one of a kind”. $75 + embellishments for the large one, $55 + embellishments for the small one.

August 26 (Thur) Make a Project using the Cricut w/ Meg. Make a birthday, shower, party or room banner of your choice. Make cards, signs, posters...Choose from our wide variety of scrapbook papers for the round background, and another print for the letters. $20 + material fee -2-3pm

Choose from our large selection of Amy Butler fabrics and cut and sew a pair of pajama pants for mother and daughter. This is a beginning sewing class. 10 or older preferred for the child. Bring your own sewing machine if you have one. $40 each. 1-4pm
